My daughter Amy is a
blogger and blog reader as well. She sent me a link from one of the
mommy blogs she follows showing how Dee had taken inspiration from a Pottery Barn catalog, gone to the Dollar Store, thrift stores and Michaels and created her version of the center piece for a fraction of the cost. Here is the Pottery barn layout.....

Although it isn't my style of center piece, I love taking inspiration from the designers and using it as a direction in decorating. Isn't that why we all surf the web, check catalogs and observe? Pottery Barn version $200+ or Dee's version $20?
