Blue Jeans and Bandanas

This wall art appeared in an Apartment Therapy post recently.  Talk about an eye-catching, inexpensive wall treatment. The monochromatic choice is stunning although I can also picture the same type of wall in a children's room completed with bandanas in a rainbow of colors. Each time I look at this I get excited all over again thinking about possible variations in my life.

It also reminded me of a wall hanging I noticed while at the Brimfield Fair in May. I went searching back through my photos and found this one of a wall hanging made from the waist bands of old jeans that was on display at the fair.  It has me thinking differently about patchwork from scraps. I always toss the waist bands.

What is more American than blue jeans and bandanas! Also reflects my attachment to maps! Looks like I need to add a new category of maps!
