Seedpods Elsewhere • Jack DeVos

After my seedpod post yesterday I did a simple Google search on seedpods in design.  One of the first hits was the home page of fine woodturner Jack DeVos from Australia. I am in awe.

Combining the natural beauty of wood with the design elegance of seedpods and using some exceptional talent and skill, Mr. Devos has created stunning art. In looking at his website I noticed two American galleries show his work, del Mano Gallery in Los Angeles, CA and The Wood Turning Centre in Philadelphia, PA. I'll be adding The Wood Turning Centre to the list of things to visit when we next travel that way.
