Live in New England? Northampton this Weekend!

One of the very best New England Art and Craft Fairs is held every Columbus Day weekend at the fairgrounds in Northampton, MA. It is sponsored by Paradise City and well worth the trip. I'll be going along with my husband and I have visited the website, downloaded my discount entry coupons and looked at who will be showing.  I have noted the following:

First - glass work by Alex Fekete. I generally can't afford glass work but I love to look and admire.  I especially like the use of the tear drop form.

As always, I'll be checking out the potters. My collection of wonderful, eclectic and varied pottery is growing. I love entertaining and using all handcrafted serving pieces. I like these mugs by Alexandra Geller.

And nesting bowls........

I purchased a bowl by Deidre Wilson at a previous show and I may just have to get some additional sizes.  She does a beautiful job of throwing porcelain. The pieces are remarkably light, with glorious glazes.

The weather is suppose to be glorious (finally). I can't wait to go.
