Deceptively Simple Lamp

In a lamp I like a simplicity of form. I often can't find styles that I like because they are too decorative. This lamp is a beauty.

What you don't realize at first look is that it is made from a flat sheet of acrylic material folded into the conical shape. The single sheet forms not only the shade but also the base.  And then the cord protrudes like a pony tail. Instead of trying to hide it, it is incorporated as a design element. Very nice!

It is designed by Argentina designer Frederick Churba.
