Last week I threaded a long series of brach sticks together to create and birch fence of sorts for my table. I posted the tutorial and photos
here. Although I love the concept I haven't been sold on the effect. Today I moved it. It is now on the coffee table in the living room. It fits better there because one of the great angles to view is from above. Here it is in spiral formation.
I then tried it in concert with some of my wooden balls......
What I am liking about this birch fence is its flexibility. I can use it as an accent in any number of places.
Interesting potential. I'll keep experimenting!

I was taken with this idea RIGHT AWAY when I saw it last week. Of course, that means I'll never see any fallen branch trees, just because I want to make one.
ReplyDeleteThis centerpiece will fit both indoors and outdoors at my house.
Keep a set of clippers in your car. You'll never know when you find a great branch! Or vine, etc. Thanks for commenting and send pics if you use the idea!
