White Winter Branches

There is so much you can do with branches. Yesterday I posted about just using them as is. It is simple and effective but if you feel the need to alter them, then an easy DIY is to spray paint them white. If you pick a strong enough branch you can even assign it a chore....

As a shelf, a clothes hanger, or even as a curtain rod......

Not wanting something quite so permanent?  Then just place the snowy white branch in the center of the table as a creative centerpiece.....

They look striking against a dark wall.....

But just as effective in an all white environment....

I used them as a contrast element in my Christmas entry arrangements along with evergreens. The white livened up the effect, especially against the color of the house. (I continue to be so glad that we painted it.  It looks stunning with a snowy back drop!)

To paint your own sticks just hang them on a rope in the yard and spray.  It helps if there is no wind and remember spray paint prefers warmer days. Read the label.
